The economy has taken a nosedive and it looks like my job could end any day. (the job situation has improved) Time to get some of those pots off the back burner and turn the heat up. I actually do have some pots I need to turn the heat up on.... some pottery from the wheel that needs firing.
Propane has become so expensive that I've not done very much glasswork in a while. I visited a glass studio near Spruce Pine in North Carolina that runs off landfill gas.
I'm going to start promoting the idea of building a glass studio at the public landfill in Wellford, South Carolina. It would be very close to quite a few high schools and colleges in the Upstate.
